1-Day Nyungwe National Park plus Karongi Boat Tour

Tour Overview:
This unforgettable journey begins with the Karongi Boat & Island Tour, where you’ll explore the serene waters of Lake Kivu, visit scenic islands, and experience the breathtaking beauty of Rwanda’s western region. This is a full-day activity. After a day of exploration, we’ll head to Nyungwe National Park (3 hours drive from Karongi), where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel, ready for an exciting adventure the following day.

Nyungwe National Park Activities:
The following day, we enter the national park for thrilling activities in one of Africa’s oldest rainforests. Guests are required to pay the park entrance fee and the mandatory park guide:

• $65 for African citizens

• $100 for non-African residents

• $25 for a mandatory park guide

💡 Please note: The $65 entrance fee covers only one activity. An extra gate pass is required if you wish to participate in additional experiences.

Activity Options:

🌿 Waterfall & Tea Plantation Photo Session (3 – 3.5 hours) – Enjoy a scenic trek through lush tea plantations and capture breathtaking moments by the park’s stunning waterfall.

🐵 Chimpanzee Tracking – Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to observe Nyungwe’s wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat. (Pre-booking required as tickets sell out fast!)

🌉 Canopy Walk (2 hours) – Walk across East Africa’s highest canopy bridge and take panoramic views of the rainforest from above.
